Current for plants is a sleeping concert I initiated as a curator for the electronic music festival Strøm in Copenhagen. The concept for the concert consisted of 2 main points. Firstly: It was a sleeping concert, meaning the attendees, in accordance with their ticket, got an air matress to sleep on and was asked to bring their own blanket or sleeping bag.
Second: The music at the concert was made and played live with the help of plants. The plants were at the concert turned into instruments to be played on, by using electrodes and programmed equipment made by Tsvetan Nastev.
I performed, as my artist alias LIO KILA, as well as Tsvetan Nastev.
